UMFT is a curated streaming discovery and distribution platform built for independent filmmakers and global audiences. During the current phase, UMFT is a preview experience: accounts can be created, and selected content is presented for discovery. Full viewing, catalog, and filmmaker submission features are introduced in later phases.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where applicable, to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and not share your account beyond the limits of the service.

Accounts may be suspended or removed for conduct that violates these Terms.

UMFT currently offers viewing at no cost to viewers. Video content is hosted and delivered by third-party hosting platforms rather than by UMFT itself. Playback availability, quality, and functionality depend on the hosting platform, and UMFT does not control those services.

Where content is presented through YouTube embeds or similar third-party players, your viewing is also governed by that provider's own terms and policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service and YouTube Privacy Policy. UMFT is not responsible for third-party player behavior, data practices, or availability.

Filmmakers retain ownership of their works. By making a work available on UMFT, the submitting filmmaker grants UMFT a limited, non-exclusive license to display, promote, and stream that work through the platform for as long as the work is published on UMFT.

The UMFT name, interface, and original site content belong to the platform. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content without permission.

You agree not to harass other users or creators, misrepresent your identity, attempt to circumvent access controls or region restrictions, scrape or resell platform content, or otherwise interfere with the service. Automated collection of content or data is not permitted without written permission.

Filmmakers may submit works for consideration through submission channels that UMFT will publish. Submission does not guarantee publication. Each work is reviewed, and UMFT decides at its discretion whether, where, and for how long a work is published.

Publication decisions, including removal decisions, are within UMFT's editorial discretion. Further submission terms will be provided to filmmakers at submission time.

Works may be licensed for viewing only in certain countries or regions. Availability can vary by territory and may change as rights windows change. UMFT does not guarantee that any particular work will be available in your region or remain available.

Some works are intended for mature audiences. UMFT plans to provide age classification and content descriptors so viewers can make informed choices. Until dedicated parental controls are available, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising what minors in their care watch on UMFT.

UMFT plans to introduce optional paid subscriptions in a future phase. No subscription purchase, recurring payment, or paywall is currently offered through the platform. If and when paid plans launch, the applicable pricing, billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be published and will govern those purchases. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to sell a subscription at this time.

If you believe a work on UMFT infringes your rights, or a published work should be reviewed or removed for another reason, you may submit a complaint through our contact channel below. UMFT is currently in a preview phase. The service is provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted access, specific catalog titles, or specific features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UMFT is not liable for interruptions, third-party host or player issues, or losses arising from use of the service.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of UMFT after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
